North Carolina State Flag

North Carolina State of US is present in the Southeastern area of USA. It is also called as “Old North State and Tar Heel State”. Motto of North Carolina State of Us is “Esse quam videri” which means “To be, rather than to seem” and “first in flight”. Capital city of North Caroline is Raleigh and its largest city is Charlotte. This State comes on 9th number by population and it is ranked on 28th number by area.

Flag of North Carolina State of US was designed by “Johnston Jones” and it was adopted by North Carolina State on 24th June 1991. It comprise of blue Union with white star in center, letter ‘C’ in yellow is written on right side and letter ‘N’ is written in yellow on left side. At top yellow ribbon is present with inscription in black “May 20th, 1775” and another ribbon is present at bottom with inscription “April 12th, 1176” Two bars are present on the fly of flag. Upper bar is of red color and lower bar of white color. This flag is for both State and civil flag.
